The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (RSWCD) provides free vegetable, herb, and wildflower seeds to Richland County residents through its Seed Sanctuary program. The program promotes home gardening, food security, and pollinator conservation. The Seed Sanctuary is funded by the Richland County Conservation Commission, Friends of RSWCD, and other public and private sponsors.
The Seed Sanctuary will open for the cool season on August 13. Join the waitlist to receive cool-season seeds by mail, and subscribe to our e-newsletter to learn where we will pop up this season!
