County Offices Closing to the Public on Monday for Safety

With winter weather forecasted to impact the Midlands this weekend, Richland County Government offices will be closed to the public Monday, Jan. 26. The County’s Solid Waste and Recycling facilities will also be closed to the public Monday. Please follow the County’s social media accounts for more updates.

Richland County Continues Preparations, Adjusts Schedule for Winter Weather

All Elections

Residents not registered, may register no later than 30 days prior to an election. Voter Registration by mail or online applications will be accepted if postmarked 30 days prior to an election.

Early Voting begins 2-weeks prior to every election excluding holidays. The Early Voting centers will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. for Special and Municipal Election, Monday through Friday (closed Saturday and Sunday).

Early Voting centers will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. for General Election, Monday through Saturday.
