Community Engagement

At the Voter Registration and Elections Office, community engagement is a vital part of our mission to promote civic participation and ensure every eligible citizen has the opportunity to vote. We are committed to building strong partnerships and providing education throughout the community to increase awareness and understanding of the electoral process.

Our Community Engagement Efforts Include:

  • Partnerships with Community Organizations: Collaborating with civic groups, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and other community partners to expand access to voter registration and information.
  • Voter Education Events: Participating in community forums, town halls, and educational workshops to inform citizens about voting rights, election procedures, election volunteer opportunities and upcoming elections.
  • School and College Outreach: Partnering with local high schools, colleges, and universities to engage young voters, provide information on how to register, and participate with internships centered around the electoral process.

Through these efforts, we aim to foster an informed and active electorate and strengthen the democratic process at the local level.
