Vendor Registration

OpenGov will be your single location for all bid opportunities issued by Richland County, and there is no cost to register!

Registration will allow you to:

  • Register to bid and receive notifications of future opportunities (Subscribe)
  • Follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation (Follow)
  • Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations
  • Respond electronically to RFPs, bids, etc. to ensure submissions have been accurately completed

Step 1.Before You Begin

Required documents during registration:

  • A signed Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification (W-9 form)
  • A current up-to-date certificate of insurance
  • Socio-Economic Status - check all that apply
  • A Yes verifying the person creating the account on behalf of the entity is authorized to do so

Optional documents include:

  • Registration with the SC Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Division of Professional and Occupational Licensing Boards (POL), Office of BoardServices (OBS) or any other special licensing.
  • Richland County Business License (when working in the unincorporated areas of the County).
  • Richland County Office of Small Business Opportunities Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) or Emerging Small Local Business (ESLBE) Enterprise certification (if applicable)

Step 3.Activate Your Account

Once you register, activate your account using the link in the OpenGov email.

Step 4.Follow Richland County

In the Richland County Procurement Portal, click the green "Subscribe" button to follow Richland County opportunities and stay informed.
