Report an Issue

Get Connected to County Services

Not sure where to turn for help with a County issue? The Ombudsman’s Office is here for you. We’re your one-stop contact for answers, service requests, and problem-solving.

Whether it's a missed trash pickup, a pothole, or a barking dog, our team is ready to get your concern to the right department—and make sure it’s followed through.

You don’t need to know who handles what. Just call us. We’ll take it from there.

What Happens When You Call or Email

Our Process

Step 1.We log the concern in our database.

Your request is entered into our central tracking system so we can keep a record of everything.

Step 2.We'll gather the details.

We ask for as much information as possible about your concern to help the right department understand and resolve the issue.

Step 3.We get the concern to the right team.

The concern is forwarded to the appropriate County department for review and investigation.

Step 4.The department investigates and responds.

A staff member looks into the issue, enters their findings into our system, and contacts you with an update — all within the set response time.

Step 5.We keep your request updated.

Your case file is updated as new information comes in, including actions taken and when they were completed.

Step 6.The County department responds.

The department will let you know what decisions or actions have been made. If you haven’t heard back, we encourage you to follow up with our office.

Note: If your concern is submitted anonymously, it will still be logged, but we won’t be able to follow up directly.

Most requests are handled within 24 hours.

Every step is tracked so nothing gets lost or forgotten. If there’s a delay, the department will call you with an update. If you don’t hear back in two days, call us again and we’ll investigate.
