The Building Permitting and Inspections team is made up of dedicated professionals committed to helping our communities maintain safe structures for living, working, shopping, and recreation. We achieve this by issuing permits for construction activities, enforcing compliance with building codes, and removing unsafe structures.

- Review Building Plans for Building Code Compliance
- Monitor Code Compliance through Onsite Building Inspections
- Provide Community Awareness on Best Practices for Hiring Contractors
- Monitor and Demolish Abandoned and Unsafe Structures
Our Building Inspections Team
- Are National Certified through International Code Council (ICC)
- Hold a State Building Inspector’s License through the SC LLR Building Code Council
- Licenses are in both Residential and Commercial Construction
