Aircraft

All aircraft are registered through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Each year:

  • The FAA provides a list of registered aircraft owners to the Department of Revenue (DOR).
  • The DOR then forwards this information to the Auditor’s Office.

A verification form is mailed annually to each registered owner, confirming the details received from the DOR. This form must be completed by the due date of the taxable year to ensure accurate tax assessment.
