Richland County Council will hold a first reading and public hearing on the newly revised zoning map for unincorporated Richland County during a special called Council meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Registration is open for the 5^th Annual Small Business Conference, “Unveil Your Potential,” presented by the Richland County Office of Small Business Opportunity (OSBO). The free conference will be held Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Richland Two Institute of Innovation (R2i2) at 763 Fashion Drive, Columbia.

Richland County offices will close Monday, Sept. 4, to observe Labor Day.

Due to the threat of inclement weather from Hurricane Idalia, Richland County Government is encouraging citizens to plan ahead and exercise caution.
