Richland County’s Lower Richland Drop-off Center, at 10531 Garners Ferry Road, Eastover, has reopened to the public after a temporary closure Thursday, June 26.

Richland County is giving many property owners an early heads up about changes to the value of their property for 2025.

Richland County Government offices will close Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.

Richland County will bring together state and local entities for an upcoming public event focused on the positive impact of the County’s Transportation Penny program, both at present and in the future.

Today, District 2 Councilman Derrek Pugh, Vice Chair of Richland County Council, welcomed Maryland Gov. Wes Moore for a tour of economic development investment in the district.
