ARPA Funding

The American Rescue Plan (ARPA) will deliver $350 billion for state, local, territorial and tribal governments to respond to the COVID-19 emergency. It is estimated that Richland County will receive $80 million in funding through ARPA.
Here's how you can find out more:
- Read the U.S. Treasury Department's fact sheet on ARPA, which includes information on eligible funding options.
- The intent of ARPA: using resources to meet pandemic response needs, and rebuilding a stronger and more equitable economy as the country recovers. See a Quick Reference Guide.
- Treasury has published allocation information. See the department's FAQ on state and local recovery funding.
