Richland County Government offices will close Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.

Richland County will bring together state and local entities for an upcoming public event focused on the positive impact of the County’s Transportation Penny program, both at present and in the future.

Today, District 2 Councilman Derrek Pugh, Vice Chair of Richland County Council, welcomed Maryland Gov. Wes Moore for a tour of economic development investment in the district.

Richland County Government offices and collection sites will close Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.

The County welcomes feedback from the public on its operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2025, and ends June 30, 2026.
