Attendees will learn about irrigation scheduling, water quality and how it affects soil conditions and pesticide efficacy, agricultural water use regulations and reporting requirements, and NRCS technical and financial assistance for efficient irrigation and water management practices. Presenters include Dr. Jose Payero and Dr. Dara Park, Clemson University; Kellee Melton and Yasmin Bennett, SC-NRCS; and Paul Bristol, SCDHEC. Bring your Irrigation Water Analysis Report (available through your local Clemson Extension office) for Dr. Park to evaluate during the workshop.
Two (2) pesticide applicator recertification hours will be offered.
