Richland County Council approved a plan in 2017 to update magistrate facilities throughout the County. The magistrate office in the North Columbia area is the first to open. Members of County Council are scheduled to speak, as well as state Sen. John L. Scott Jr. and Chief Magistrate Judge Tomothy C. Edmond.
