Join Coroner Gary Watts and his staff to learn about the many programs and services provided by the Coroner's Office.
The Coroner's Office is responsible for investigating all suspicious, violent, sudden and unexpected deaths that occur in Richland County.
In addition, the office offers a variety of community outreach initiatives. For example, the Sleep Right Through the Night program educates parents and caretakers about safe sleep practices for children, the volunteer CARE Team assists families in their time of need, and the Coroner's youth arbitration efforts help young people facing charges. These programs and more are part of the services of the Coroner's Office under the direction of Coroner Watts.
This event also includes a tour of the facility.
