The goal of Richland County Elections & Voter Registration office is to raise voter awareness among residents of Richland County, by providing opportunities for the public to learn about the elections process.
We offer a number of outreach programs to increase voter participation among Richland County residents.
We are pleased to offer the following services to our residents:
- Mock Elections
- Photo ID's
- Request a Speaker
- Voter Registration Drives

Please note that request must be submitted 14 days prior to your event for consideration.
*During the months of May and June all outreach activities will be suspended, due to the June Primary Election.

The Richland County Board of Elections & Voter Registration will hold a Board Meeting, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor of the Richland County Administration Building.

Public Testing Notice – 2018 June Statewide Primary Election
May 9, 2018
On Friday, May 11, 2018, beginning at 2:00 pm, the Richland County Voter Registration & Elections Office will conduct the public testing of the election database and counting equipment associated with the June 12, 2018, Statewide Primary Election.
The testing will be conducted at the Elections & Voter Registration Office located at 2020 Hampton Street, Columbia, SC 29204.
