Common Pleas filings dropped off after 2:30pm in the Civil Records Box located in the Judicial Center Lobby will be processed the following business day.

Common Pleas Court Roster
Roster Meetings are held every Monday at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 2C. Attendance is mandatory. The failure to appear, send a representative from your law firm, or another lawyer to speak on your behalf, may result in dismissal of the action. Attorneys are to notify all parties who are in default or who are proceeding Pro Se about this roster meeting and all hearings.
Any requests for continance should be submitted as a proposed order via e-filing 10 days in advance. All cases are subjected to be called for trial.
Jury qualification will begin at 9:30 a.m. (or as soon as possible thereafter).
If you have a Motion pending in a case appearing on this roster, please contact Judge Alison R. Lee or Athena Borer at (803) 576-3372 to get the Motion scheduled. Do not wait until the week of trial to have the Motion heard.

The Clerk of Court’s office is making appointments to sign the Notary Book. Please call 803-576-1951 or email gist.beverly@richlandcountysc.gov to make your appointment. The appointments are every 15 minutes, beginning at 10 am and ending with the last appointment at 12:45pm. Please bring your notary certificate and a $10 check or money order for the fee. No cash or cards will be accepted at this time.
