The map below identifies more than 16,000 "quail atolls," or instances of blight, across the County, including illegal dumping sites, litter and debris, noncompliant structures, foreclosures, demolished and condemned buildings, abandoned vehicles, overgrown lots and more. The purpose of Revivify Richland is to clean up and revitalize these areas through beautification efforts, effective enforcement of codes and County ordinance and neighborhood-specific redevelopment projects. As part of Revivify Richland, gateway signage that welcomes motorists to the Capital County will be installed at key entry points into the County.
