Chances are, we all know someone affected by heart disease and stroke. Enjoy lunch with your neighbors at this in-person and virtual community event, and find out how small actions can lead to big changes in heart health.
Presenters will include:
- Gretchen Barron (Richland County Councilwoman)
- Robin Cooper (Wholespire)
- Kelsey Sanders (Wholespire)
- Catherine Coffer (American Heart Association)
- Monica Hoover (American Heart Association)
Councilwoman Barron will give opening remarks, and Cooper and Sanders will give background information on Wholespire and how participants can volunteer with this local organization. Coffer and Hoover will speak on women's heart health and discuss the upcoming Heart Walk and Move More challenge, which the County will take part in during March.
Free, on-site blood pressure screenings will be available; no appointment or registration required.
In-person registration is full, but grab your lunch and join virtually on Facebook or YouTube. Participants are encouraged to wear red.
