Richland County Neighborhood Improvement Program staff will take County residents through a three-day course on establishing a plan for their neighborhoods. The Neighborhood Toolkit will be utilized to guide residents through the process of creating a vision, mission, goals and objectives for their community and neighborhood-scale projects they can implement. Participants will be asked to share what they learned about Neighborhood Planning and how they will apply that knowledge to improve where they live. Richland County Planning Commission member, Heather Cairns, will wrap-up the sessions with an informative presentation on neighborhood association bylaws and covenants.
